Before Nicki’s recent Big Bash anniversary evening, Ally Hewitt (from the Boucher Legacy) wanted to place the following on record, and also to put in writing their sentiments for what she has done:
“The Boucher Legacy in South Africa is focussed on conservation and protection of Rhino and other endangered Mammals that are facing extinction through human atrocities mainly poaching. Our organization was the beneficiary of the Over 50’s World Cup Team that visited Australia last year and my understanding is that this was where you heard of our organization and offered your kind assistance.
We are most appreciative of your generosity and kind gesture to help us to raise funds from your own practice in Sydney Australia. I understand your evening’s function is to meet with your patients and friends and to highlight the funds that you have raised for The Boucher Legacy in South Africa. Thank You for your leadership and proactiveness in making this happen and also for profiling the Legacy we are working on tirelessly to combat the atrocities of Rhino Poaching and to save these beautiful animals as part of our natural heritage.
