Australian cricket legend Belinda Clark is travelling up from Cricket Australia’s head office in Melbourne to represent CA at the opening of the Over-50s Cricket World Cup in Sydney next month.
In addition to being CA’s Executive General Manager, Community Cricket, Belinda is a genuine legend of international cricket who played 134 internationals for Australia, scoring nearly 5000 runs at an average of 47. She won two World Cups and has captained the Australian women’s team more times than any other player.
She is an officer of the Order of Australia, a member of the Sport Australia Hall of Fame and a member of the Australian Cricket Hall of Fame.
We are delighted that Belinda will be joining us at the opening ceremony on November 20.
